Bio

Ann has been creating stories and worlds since childhood. Games with her younger siblings often lasted for days. But it wasn't until she was older that she began committing those words and stories to the page. After a series of jobs as an adult, ranging from professional gift wrapper, to groom in the foaling barns of a horse farm, to laboratory tech, Ann decided to focus on her writing. That was where she thrived, in the world of her imagination. After attending a few SCBWI conferences, Ann went back to school to get an MFA in creative writing from Spalding University Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing with an emphasis in writing for children and young adults. Ann has published short fiction for both adults and children. Her work has appeared in the CrossTime anthology, vol. X,  and on such sites as short-story-time.com. Ann is a former contributor to Spirit and Truth Publishing for their “Living the Word” series. Her debut novel is an adult mystery entitled Intuition of Evil and will be published by Rowan Prose Publishing. Ann is the mother of two grown kids, a dog and two wild tom cats. She resides with her husband and furbabies in Kentucky. When not writing, Ann enjoys daydreaming, walks with her dog, reading, binge watching her favorite TV shows and movies, gardening and playing board and video games.
